Step 1: Get Your Trezor Device
Before diving into the setup process, you’ll need to purchase your Trezor hardware wallet. Trezor offers two models:
Trezor Model One: Ideal for those looking for a cost-effective, secure solution for managing a wide variety of cryptocurrencies.
Trezor Model T: The premium option with a touchscreen, supporting even more advanced features and coin options.
Make sure to buy your device directly from Trezor’s official website or an authorized reseller to ensure its authenticity.
Step 2: Visit Trezor.io/start
Go to Trezor.io/start to begin setting up your device. This page will guide you through the entire setup process with clear instructions for both beginners and advanced users.
Step 3: Download Trezor Suite
Trezor Suite is the software you’ll use to manage your crypto securely. It’s available for download on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the Suite, launch it to continue with the setup.
Trezor Suite provides a secure, user-friendly interface for managing your cryptocurrency portfolio.
You can also use the web version if preferred, but using the desktop version ensures an added layer of security.
Step 4: Set Up Your Device
Plug your Trezor device into your computer using the provided USB cable.
